Boxometry GlobeIn Artisan Box August 2015 Review - Wool Dryer Balls and Organic Cotton Bag

Product: Wool Dryer Balls (Kyrgyzstan)
Retail Value: $15.00

I love wool dryer balls. They are natural, and does not contain added chemicals and fragrances like regular dryer sheets. You can also use them forever - something like 1,000 loads. It saves in the long run. Also, you can add a bit of essential oil if you want a specific scent on your clothes.

Product: Organic Cotton Bag (India)
Retail Value: $2.50

The wool dryer balls came in a really nice and soft organic cotton bag.

Boxometry GlobeIn Artisan Box August 2015 Review - Upcycled Laundry Bag

Product: Upcycled Laundry Bag (Cambodia)
Retail Value: $25.00

The Upcycled Laundry Bag is made out of recycled materials. It is very well made and super sturdy! I think it's useful for people who need to launder their clothes elsewhere. The bag is convenient to carry around. Please note that color vary by box.

Boxometry GlobeIn Artisan Box August 2015 Review - Soap Nuts Sampler

Product: Soap Nuts Sampler (Nepal)
Retail Value: $2.00

These soap nuts comes straight from the ritha tree (a member of the lychee family). When the dried shells absorb water it releases a natural sudsing detergent known as saponin. It works like commercial laundry detergent, but without the chemicals.

GlobeIn sends all of their monthly goodies inside this signature handwoven basket. There are several different colors and patterns available for sale on their site. These are well made, and great for storage.

ProductsRetail Value
Wool Dryer Balls (Kyrgyzstan) $15.00
Organic Cotton Bag (India) $2.50
Upcycled Laundry Bag (Cambodia) $25.00
Soap Nuts Sampler (Nepal) $2.00
GlobeIn Signature Handwoven Basket (Mexico) $12.00
Total $56.50

Final Thoughts: I actually really enjoyed this Laundry box. Although I already own wool dryer balls, I can definitely make use of these additional ones once mine wears down. I’ve never used soap nuts before, but would love to give them a try as a even more natural alternative than my free & clear detergents. The cotton drawstring bag is really nice, and I can use it store other trinkets. I think the only item I won't use much is the laundry bag since I do all my laundry at home. The bag is much more convenient if you need to carry your stuff around. Overall, I think this was a great box from GlobeIn.
