FabFitFun Summer 2015 Boxometry Review - Detail Card

The box comes with a card detailing all of the products and their retail prices.

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Boxometry Review - Wren 14K Gold and Black Sapphire Necklace

Product: Wren 14K Gold and Black Sapphire Necklace
Retail Value: $100.00

The exclusive Wren x FabFitFun necklace comes in variations of Heart, Moon, or Horseshoe pendant in either 14Kt gold-dipped or rose gold-dipped finish. Since I'm a Select member, I was given the option to choose the color and symbol. I love moon pendants, but not a fan of yellow gold, so my choice was easy: moon shape with rose-gold. There's also a small black sapphire on the pendant. The necklace is cute and dainty, but simple so it can go with almost any outfits. I really like it. The only question I have is what material is underneath since the only specification is that it is gold-dipped.

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Boxometry Review - The Everyday Wireless Speaker by FabFitFun

Product: The Everyday Wireless Speaker by FabFitFun
Retail Value: $29.99

The sound quality is pretty good for a $30 wireless speaker. The bluetooth is easy to pair, and can be charged with a USB. This speaker comes in either pink or teal colors. It was another item that FabFitFun allowed their Select members to choose, so I picked the pink version. Otherwise, you will get one color at random.

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Boxometry Review - Inkling Scents Sultry Roll-On Oil Perfume

Product: Inkling Scents Sultry Roll-On Oil Perfume
Retail Value: $25.00

The Inkling roll-on oil perfume is composed of 100% pure fragrance and essential oils. Their site offers both men and women's fragrances. The scent included in the box is "Sultry" for women.

The base is creamy sandalwood and white amber, the heart is lotus flower, orchid and Bulgarian rose, while the top is silky vanilla. The blend is provocative, but clean – like naked skin.

What I really like about this perfume is that it's not overpowering. Once applied, I can easily identify the floral notes and the vanilla top note. However, it also manages to blend in well with the skin so that it smells almost like it's naturally part of your body. As someone who's pretty picky about perfumes, I am super excited to have discovered Inkling Scents. Plus, there's no alcohol in the ingredients.

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Boxometry Review - Gorge "I'll Make You Look Amazing" Daily Spray

Product: Gorge "I'll Make You Look Amazing" Daily Spray
Retail Value: $24.95

I never used much leave-in conditioners until I started receiving them in subscription boxes. This conditioner can be used on damp or dry hair. I tried some on dry hair, and it does seem to give it a bit of shine and smoothness. I didn't suddenly have amazing hair or anything, but as long as it makes my hair manageable, I would say the product made an impact.

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Boxometry Review - Tarte LipSurgence™ Lip Gloss

Product: Tarte LipSurgence™ Lip Gloss
Retail Value: $19.00

The Tarte LipSurgence Lip Gloss was the third item FabFitFun allowed you to choose if you are a Select member. The three options are: Flush, True Love, or Envy. I chose Envy because it looked closest to a color I would normally use as a lip gloss. There's a slight stickiness to the formula, but feels moisturizing.

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Boxometry Review - FabFitFun x CosmoBody Jump Rope

Product: FabFitFun x CosmoBody Jump Rope
Retail Value: $14.00

I haven't used a jump rope for a long time, and was actually thinking about getting one for exercise. This came just in time. I love the color as I would've bought a pink one anyway.

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Boxometry Review - Scratch Nail Wraps

Product: Scratch Nail Wraps
Retail Value: $12.00

Scratch has their own nail wrap subscription box for $30 a month. I actually haven't used nail wraps before, so this will be fun when I get a chance to do it. The kit comes with 16 self-adhesive nail wraps, and they are free of formaldehyde, DBP and toluene. Also, these are made exclusively for the FabFitFun Summer box.

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Boxometry Review - Headspace 3-Month Subscription

Product: Headspace 3-Month Subscription
Retail Value: $38.85

Headspace is described as "your gym membership for the mind." I'm not too familiar with this site. The idea of digital meditation is interesting, so I might make use of the subscription. It's suppose to take only 10 minutes a day.

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Boxometry Review - Hello Konjac Cleansing Sponge

Product: Hello Konjac Cleansing Sponge
Retail Value: $12.00

I've been hooked on these konjac facial cleansing sponges ever since I received one from another subscription box. They are natural sponges, and works well as an exfoliator. As I mentioned in another review, I remember konjac was used in Asian drinks because they are supposed to be good for the skin. It's no surprise that it's now popular as a cleansing sponge.

FabFitFun Summer 2015 Boxometry Review - Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Spray Moisturizer

Product: Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Spray Moisturizer
Retail Value: $5.99

This is a sponsored product, so FabFitFun did not include the retail value into the total price shown on the detail card. Target sells this spray moisturizer for $5.99, so I added that to my own calculation. This is a great item to have for summer since aloe has cooling effect, and the light-weight lotion moisturizes without being too heavy.

ProductsRetail Value
Wren 14K Gold and Black Sapphire Necklace $100.00
The Everyday Wireless Speaker by FabFitFun $29.99
Inkling Scents Sultry Roll-On Oil Perfume $25.00
Gorge "I'll Make You Look Amazing" Daily Spray $24.95
Tarte LipSurgence™ Lip Gloss $19.00
FabFitFun x CosmoBody Jump Rope $14.00
Scratch Nail Wraps $12.00
Headspace 3-Month Subscription $38.85
Hello Konjac Cleansing Sponge $12.00
Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Spray Moisturizer $5.99
Total $281.78

Final Thoughts: As promised, everything included is full-sized, and the value is amazing. I'm glad that I was able to choose the symbol and material of the Wren Studio necklace since a big percentage of the value came from it. The speaker is nice to have, and the sound quality turned out better than I expected. Also, I really like the Inkling Scent roll-on perfume, and I am happy to have discovered this brand. In addition, I want to mention that I am glad FabFitFun included a leave-in conditioner instead of a dry shampoo. I've received way too many dry shampoos lately and they just don't work for me. The only thing I'm not too excited about is the Headspace subscription, but sounds like an interesting concept. Overall, I really like the Summer box, so I would recommend it if you are looking for a variety of products related to fashion, fitness, and beauty. Don't forget to use BOX10 to get $10 off your first box!
